Our flaky, sweet Palmiers are made by special request from customers like Dorothy Lane Market (Dayton, OH) and Cafe la Fortuna (Hinsdale, IL) but don’t be disheartened! We also make Palmiers for the Oxford Ohio Farmer’s Market through the Summer. You can snatch a few at our Union City, IN boutique on Friday afternoons through farmers market season.
Palmiers (or elephant ears) are a French pastry in the shape of a palm tree or butterfly. They are made by rolling out layers of dough and butter, coating with sugar and rolling up before slicing. These pastries are crisp and flaky and absolutely to die for!
